I have no finish to share but an 'oooooooh, if I could just sit my butt down for one hour together, I would have a finish' to share. Fruitful Clusters by the Goode Huswife in a nearly finished state:
Whilst trying to improve my skills in the art of procrastination (and believe me, any more skilled and I could turn professional), I ran my 'to stitch list' through an online randomizer, and the result can be found in my sidebar. It's a bit of an ambitious list, seeing as I intend to spend the year 2009 finishing it...
...that's right, have a laugh. Are you okay there? Take care not to choke on your coffee!
...but this is the list that was put together by Rational Me. The list La-La Me made had 81items on it, and even I (er... I'm sorry, I don't know which Me that is. La-La Me, I think) thought that was probably a bit unrealistic. Still, I intend to stick to this Selfish Stitching thing in the year(s) to come, because nothing works as well for my stitching mojo as stitching for myself does, so who knows? Maybe I will be able to cross a couple of these projects off my list in the near future!
I will leave you with some family pics. The furry critters are my step doggies. My parents are on a mini break and I'm looking after them. It's so much fun having them around! Pelle, patiently waiting for his pancake to arrive!
Lodewijk, basking in the sun after a long walk in the woods.
Poor Christoffel had some gnashers pulled, that's why his tongue sticks out.
Hopefully I'll be back soon with a real finish, and with some new plans to divulge re. my Me, Myself and I RR. In the meantime, could I trouble you for some positive thoughts and vibes? I'm seeing someone in court on Wednesday and to say that I'm nervous and scared would be the understatement of the year. Thanks!

{{{{Annemarie}}}} - sending loads of good thoughts for your court date on Wednesday.
Your "almost finish" looks wonderful and your project list looks very exciting! You have some lovely projects planned - good luck with working through them.
(PS I have Libby Q ready to go - actually, I sneaked a very few first stitches in the other day shhh!- so if you fancy an informal SAL at some point to help keep you motivated, drop me a line :) )
Love Pelle's hairdo!! He is looking so handsome. You know I will be on the sidelines cheering you on this Wednesday. I will send positive winning thoughts your way. Checked out your to do list and I didn't see two RR's on that list LOL - just talking to the regular you!!!!!
I'm so sorry An, thinking of you and praying for a positive court time. SO sorry....
But I must say Master Pelle, is looking dashing with is winning haircut, and what sweet poochies :o)
I tell you girl - I'm amazed at all your finishes this year...but this Goode Huswife...love it - and nearly there! Good going!!!
Ahh, the "court day". I have come awfully close to that moment myself, so I feel for you. Gives me a knot in my stomach just remembering all of that. Anyway, the stitching seems to be going well and hopefully relieving some of the stress. Pelle and the pooches will keep your mind (and body) busy too. I'll be thinking of you on Wedneday.
Fruitful Clusters is looking beautiful! Pelle is a doll, and the furry babies are pretty cute too.
Good luck with Wednesday, and I hope all goes well for you.
LOVE the Goode Huswife piece...goodness sakes girl, I want to see it all finished up, lol!
And Pelle looks cute as ever. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and {{hugs}}
Poor Christoffel, I feel his pain after my visit with the dentist this afternoon!!
In regards to the randomizer, I think it's best not to mention any lists, I'll just say that Fruitful Clusters is looking gorgeous and that you will be receiving a phone call from yours truly fairly imminently... ;o)
When I defended my dissertation, I went out and bought the nicest pair of shoes. When things went cuckoo (and I almost cried), I looked down on my shoes and thought, "They cannot do this to me; I'm wearing power shoes." And for some crazy reason, it worked. I was strong! To this day, I am a fierce adherent of the power shoe. Get yours today!
An, Your stitches inspire me :)
Pelle is adorably cute and so are your pooches:)
A lot of us have had those dreadful "Wednesdays". Be as strong as you want to be and know this too shall pass!! You can knock a woman down, but we always get back up....and stronger than before....at our own pace:) Sending you hugs from Texas :) and remember we're all going to be thinking of you!!
Hi An,
Sending you a big hug with lots of positive thoughts and prayers for peace and strength for you on Wednesday.
It's lovely to see Pelle once again and of course, your wonderful stitching. :D
An,
Lovely near-finish! Can hardly wait to see the end product.
Pelle is growing right up! Before you know it he'll be as tall as you are! And so handsome - watch out girls!
Good luck to you and in court on Wednesday. Good thoughts will be headed your way - and bad voodoo on your opponent (just kidding about the voodoo, but I would if I could! Where's that doll that Harmien gave you???)
((((HUGS))))
My thoughts are with you at Wednesday. Some days should be over before they have started...
Sending you loads of wonderful thoughts and hugs!!! I love your almost finished piece too - so pretty!

Best of luck for court, I will send my most positive thoughts your way.
Cute doggies, I've never heard of a dog called Lodewijk or Christoffel before! It seems like very grand names!
Annemarie, best wishes for your court date tomorrow.
Pelle looks so sweet and I love the good huswife piece.
It's a lovely almost finish Anne-marie and the photos of Pelle and the dogs look great.
Sending you lots of positive thoughts and hugs for Wednesday
Hi Annemarie, I really like the Good Huswife piece. I enjoy your writing as it always makes me chuckle. I think it's great you have all these projects planned - shoot for the moon and you might land in the stars - something like that!
I don't know the background to the court case and you might not even get this in time, but I will send good thoughts your way. Just remember this - whatever happens, no one outside yourself defines who you are, only you do. (ok - I got that from Oprah) Good wishes all around.
Im late in reading your post so its wednesday already...really hope all goes ok today.
Great pictures! Your nearly-finish is lovely!!
Don't you just love these Goode Huswife designs? Keep working at it Annemarie, you're so close to a finish.
Today is Wednessday and I am sending good thoughts and vibes your way. Hang in there.
Wednesday? That is today so you are there now. Okay, I am closing my eyes and sending you a busload of positive energy. It is best that this is put behind you and you can get on with life in a good way. Okay, close eyes...more busloads coming your way!
I did a year of stash diet and new start diet while only trying to finish lots of my stitching and quilting. It has been a very good thing for me. I am getting lots done and now that we are winding down the year, I am feeling really great about myself. I survived not buying and it has become VERY easy now. I am so happy to see things getting done in my oh so messy quilt studio. You will find yourself rewarded for doing this in 2009. I will be here as your cheerleader!
My gosh...it is only just a little while and I will be coming to visit you and little Pelle.
Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi
Hope all went well in Court.
Love Fruitful Clusters!
Cute photos of Pelle and the critters. We had a cat whose tongue used to hang out like that - he only had one eye too. Not the handsomest of cats but we loved him!
I hope your court day went as well as possible for you!!
Great stitching list... and great procrastination tip! I'll have to try that one :)
OOoh-- got your mail! Thank you SO much!!
Happy happy thoughts traveling to you from Hoosierville (Indiana, USA)! Both of the stitchin' spinster sisters will be thinking of you...chin up!
Oh, and PS, your "to be stitched list" ROCKS!
Hope everything went well Wednesday so that you can start getting a little R&R in your life.
Pelle looks so adorable waiting for his pancake. Bet he had a fun time with the doggies.
Looking forward to seeing you and meeting him next week. Will email you soon for directions and time.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Fruitful clusters is looking great, you'll be posting a finish for this soon. Cute picture of Pelle, and what fun furbabies to have running around for a bit. I'm sure Pelle enjoys having them visit. How stressful to have to be dealing through the court, both the lead in before going and the actual having to actually be there. My thoughts will be with you {{hugs}}
Sue
I hope all goes well for you on Wed.
Your almost finish is very pretty.
That little Pelle looks like a hungry boy waiting for his pancake. CUTE!!!
Oooo, it looks great!!! Sorry to have been absent for so long... trying to do better...
