This was stitched on 28 count raw unbleached linen with the recommended DMC threads. There's a wee pocket there to hold the scissors, or any other orts and ends that need tucking away.
Is it wrong to be so sinfully happy with something you've made yourself? Well, I shall meditate upon this matter in my yoga class today.
I hope you craft something today that makes you bubble inside!
Yours meditatingly,
Annemarie.

Nope, not wrong at all when it is as gorgeous as your project!
Great going, Annemarie.
Sewing machine 0, Annemarie 1.
Fabulous Annemarie, love your sewing roll and congratulations on getting the machine going!
Gorgeous! And well done for getting to grips with the sewing machine!
This is very sweet and beautiful too! I don't think it's wrong at all to feel so happy about something you finished. We do this hobby because we love it and it makes us happy. Nothing wrong with that!
You should be jumping up and down and squealing because it's GORGEOUS. :D
Between being the only adult here and the blistering heat (in Maine! that wasn't part of the plan!), I have not touched my needle for a full week. Ugh.
So you're doing yoga?! I just saw that a new class starts on Tuesday evenings and I'm wondering if I dare drag my big butt over and get back into that. I did love it so when I did it regularly. Do you just love it??
Take care and enjoy a great day!
What a sweet finish! It's not wrong at all to feel happy and proud of what you have made. It's all about the enjoyment.
That is totally great :) Awesomely wonderful! And I think that there is no need to meditate upon the self congratulations...because I feel the same way with myself from time to time and it feels too good to be bad! ;)
Naaah, nothing wrong with being pleased with yourself! It's a charming needleroll, Annemarie, congratulations!

WooHoo! Way to Go, An! Every time you see it, that feeling of accomplishment will well up inside. :D
It would only be wrong if you **weren't** sinfully happy about this wonderful finish! What a great look from top to bottom!
I'm thinking that yoga class couldn't have been very calming if you were concentrating on this spectacular finish the whole time. But there's always next time, eh?
And here I was expecting some wonderful spotted cow!
Instead I find the most lovely finished sewing roll! You go girl!!!!!

0_o Awesome!
I can't recall the last time I had a finish-finish...that I kept for me, lol!
It's back to cleaning (okay, starting cleaning) and maybe stitching, too! I think I'll start with the stitching. :P
Thanks to your inspiration, I am trying to bubble rather the boil!!
Not wrong at all!! What a wonderful finish!
Oh, wow, it's wonderful! And no, there's nothing wrong in being happy and proud when you finish-finish something beautiful. I'd feel exactly the same way. And BTW, you used some great fabrics for it.
It's gorgeous AnneMarie, congratulations
Sweetie...it is never wrong to be happy about something you made for yourself! Revel in it!!! And see...you are doing fine with your sewing machine. By the way, did you clip the curves before you stuffed that stocking? It will pull if you don't.
I see you have not only been busy with needle and thread of both the hand and machine type but also buying some lovely stash of fabrics....drool, drool, drool. :-)
Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi
