Annemarie, I am so, so sorry. I lost my dad 20 years ago at age 54 and not an hour goes by without me missing him or thinking about him. I know how much it hurts. Big hugs and lots of prayers going out to you and your family, and especially Pelle, because it's always hardest for the little ones to grapple with a loss.
Your daddy was born the same year as mine. They look very much alike, too: strong and reliable. My daddy is still alive though, and I know how torn I would/will be for losing him. There are no words.
