Basic stockinette stitch socks, 64 sts; yarn Katia Olé Tibet.
I did start a new cross stitch project a while ago:
I’ve never seen this lady on any of the blogs before, which is odd, because I think she happens to be very charming. So charming, in fact, that I intend to dress her in her milky tea-coloured gown before too long and present her to you as a stitchy finish. Perhaps next week? Who knows. I’ve just finished a translation, so next week will be me-time, filled with stitching, knitting, reading, enjoying the weather (hopefully), my kid and my kitties. Ah, my friends, life does not suck :o)
Have a lovely, fun-filled weekend!
Yours contentedly,
Annemarie.

Nice knitting projects! I love the socks. Nice new stitchy start, too--I don't think I've seen that design before. Love the face!
Love your new socks...they are addictive aren't they? Don't you want a pair for every day of the year now???
Great socks, needed in this weather which seems to have a mind of it's own like -2 :))
Don't know this woman either, but am sure you're going to make something fabulous by the sounds of it.
Have a great weekend.:))
Goodness you have really got bitten by the sock bug! I only did ever make those two pairs and no more. Too many other things to do... xx
Love those socks! the wrist warmers should be nice too. The lady is very cute!
Love those socks. And I thought they were a pair!
Love the new start. She sounds interesting.
Glad the translation is done and you have some free time.
Enjoy!
Indeed, Life does not suck!! What a wonderful post, from title right to the very end.
Moeten we toch maar naar de Breidagen in april??! Nou ja, jij dan toch, ik heb nog niet echt iets laten zien... hihi!! Mooie sokken, passen perfect bij elkaar!
Always good to read your updates-makes me want to start some new socks :)
Love to Pelle!
Dear Annemarie,
Please enlighten a woefully unenlightened, non-sock-knitting-type crafter: Are the stripes on the socks supposed to line up? I thought that knitting the two socks with the same yarn was the only requirement and that the charm of homemade socks was that they're not exactly alike. Have I missed something?
I only ask because I happen to think that your socks look stupendous!! (But if I'm not supposed to think that, then I need to know what I'm supposed to think.)
Yours confusedly,
Linen
I would imagine that socks are not so much fun in summer? Or do you just use a different yarn? Does the Noro not make good boot socks? I like your lady, too, and haven't seen her either. Will look forward to seeing her outfit ;-).
Seeing the top of that lovely lady I had to google her and indeed, I have not seen her on a blog before either. It's a pity. But your pictures might help her to be loved a bit more. At least it worked with me, lol. I'll include her into my next order.
Great socks! I agree, mismatching is good :-)
Cute new start - I'll look forward to seeing the gown.
This is one of Lori's designs that I've almost bought at least two dozen times, so I'm thrilled to see that you had the good sense to buy and stitch her! :D
Your socks rock!! Cathi, of the Celtic Knotted blog, is knitting me some socks right now. I'm so excited! :D
It's great to read a blog update from you!
Love the socks!!! And the start on your stitchy lady. :)
ROFL I love your TU photo!
Gorgeous Noro! Every time I see it in blogland I drool! :D
Love love love the Noro you're repurposing for the wrist warmers. Lovely! Your new stitchy start is great too!
Lovely socks and I like the colour of the Noro
