I. Got. Some. More. Stash. Of course, after this haul I really shouldn't buy any more stash until... Well, until I die, basically. Lo. And behold, if you feel so inclined.
Hootzi Humbug will have to wait until next year to be finished, because there is no way I will be able to finish him before Saturday. There's also a sweet little sampler by LHN, for Pelle, who loves lions and sheep and will be very pleased when he sees two of these beasties in one samplerette.
But the main stitchy thing I wanted to share with you is the fact that I've decided to do another SAL. Yes, I know, I can hardly keep up with the CHS Stocking SAL and the Thursday BBD SAL, but I also have a Memento Mori wall to build and what better way to do that, than with the help of a new stitchy friend? Check out Nadia's blog and prepare to drool :o) Nadia started a tombie angel by CHS called Sarah Hook, and I'm going for the Christmas look with another angel chart by CHS called Rejoice.
Work is crazy at the moment so my start is small, some might say pitiful, but here it is:
I won't have time to work on this one -- or any of the other ones -- very much for the next couple of weeks, but I hope to add another stitch or two by the time next Monday rolls around.
There's another new post for your reading pleasure below.
Yours busily,
Annemarie

Enjoy your new stash! Have lots of fun with your new SAL - I personally don't think you can ever do too many!
You have GOT to contact me and let me know what the shipping was for TGH book. I don't feel like I can wait till Januaury to buy it!
I love your stash haul. You have incredibly great taste in projects. :D
Great start! No start is ever pitiful. Every stitch counts!
You go girl!!! Love the new stash and new start.
I agree that it's a good start--you even blocked it off with a guide--go, you! I always love seeing stash pictures. I've never seen the inside of that Good Huswife book, but considering your rapture over it I may have to do some online investigating! :) Also, it's so great that you think of things to stitch for your son now and then. :D
P.S. I made a blog, finally. It has a BBD WIP, so check it out if you feel inclined. :)
Darn, you beat me to the GH III book! I thought it would've arrived here today but maybe it got sent to you by mistake?
Nice stash. Little start is better than no start at all. Understand completely about work - gotta to do it to pay the bills I guess!
Great stash haul! I like your new SAL pick, I need that chart your friend is stitching....so morbid, I'm droolin' here, lol! But I've always loved the angel you picked to do as well :-)
Annemarie, it's no important how much we will stitch, true??
Most important is to have the push to work together....
.....a beginning is always a good beginning....
Kisses
Nadia
I read both your posts, how about that??? Love your new SAL, but okay you're 'weird' to start another one... ;-) But it's okay to be weird, isn't it?
I really LOVE the christmas angel from CHS, I'm going to look for it. It's almost Sinterklaas...
This is going to be a great SAL! If you keep it up with other designs I may even join you along the way, when I've made a dent in the WIPs.
That looks like it's going to be a great SAL. I stink at those otherwise I'd beg to join you because that pattern has been in my stash for years. Love all your stash too!
ooooh... I am in envy over your Colonial Garden Book. Wow. Lucky you!
New starts, however small, are always good!
I got the new Colonial Garden book too (for my birthday :-) and I'm having too much fun just looking through it. I don't know how I will ever decide which one will be first to get stitched. I really think I should just start all 9.
Love the new stash!! I can't wait to stitch some of those Colonial Garden series. Great new start, too!
OMG!!! You did it!!! You actually bought the Colonial Garden series. This is the title on my wishlist that shows at least a dozen exclamation marks. At least. Maybe I'll buy it for my birthday next year. I'll definitely buy it one day.
