I'm stitching, I'm stitching!

I swear! Except when I'm crocheting...

It's Monday. With my head full of snot and my lungs full of... lung-snot, I climbed on my newly crochet-covered bench for Bench Monday. I fell arse-backwards in my herb garden (thankfully, I missed that little garden gnome you see to the left of me by about 10 centimetres, otherwise a head full of snot would have been the least of my problems).
I picked up the bench and took a snap anyway.

Stitchy pics in the course of the week of progress made and a gift finish-finished, I promise!

Yours shakily,
Annemarie.

Wow, a near gnome-ectomy! That could have been bad. Instead, the result here looks VERY GOOD!

hahaha, I came here to see some stitching done and what do I get: crocheting!

I love the stool, but you shouldn't fall at all... I don't understand why you should fall, you can stand up, right? ;-)

Stitching - what stitching? All I see is crochet!!!
Glad you missed that poor gnome. He would have had the shock of his life. I am glad that you are ok even if the ego is a bit bruised lol

Wishing you firstly a speedy recovery Annemarie, what a bummer in summer to get a cold, sorry to hear about the fall, funny about the gnome though:)) I do love your crochet pieces but would be more interested in the progress of your GH....
Keep well!

If anything is funnier than your story, it would be Jennifer's "gnome-ectomy" comment.
Ouch! I do love the crochet and your starts...been browsing my old crochet books for some reason...the first needle art I ever learned.

A fall is always scary. I'm glad you weren't injured. Can't wait to see your pics, and the bench cover is darling. Grats on the finish (and other progress yet to come, lol).

Nothing like a headful of snot to impair your balance, is there? I hope you suffer no lingering aches and pains from your fall. And of course, I hope you'll be snot-free soon! We're enjoying seasonal allergies (which have returned to being year-round again for me) so I sympathize. Take care!
