I've been a bad, bad blogger and a bad blog reader and consequently a positively horrid blog commenter. And it's all because of this little fellow:

Pantoef is here! And he's a joy! As well as a bit of a pest, because he's taken over my laptop computer and started
his own blog, the little wise-ass. I think he may have been looking over my shoulder when I visited the
Spinster Stitcher and was inspired by his canine colleague, Stewey. But in a way, it is the perfect solution to a problem I had envisioned, i.e. that this stitchy blog would turn into a Pantoefy blog. You need not fear now. Although if he continues with his kitten antics I won't have time for stitching and this blog will go to the dogs anyway.
The only stitching that has occurred is a gift and can't be shown in its entirety, but I can't resist this little peek:
Doesn't this look like the perfect way to spend your evening?
Yours contentedly,
Annemarie.

Nice to know he has settled in well. I'm sure he and Pelle will soon be the best of friends and he'll learn to settle down next to you for a cat-nap as you stitch.
I love those ears!
Pantoef is adorable!
Well, isn't he just the sweetest. Hopefully he will learn his place and let you stitch soon.
I'm so glad that Pantoef has arrived and has already established himself as co-ruler of the castle (with Pelle, of course! :) ).
What a cute kitten!
My so-called stitchy blog is very often entirely a kitty blog! Panteof is just so lovely. I visited his blog and left a comment there for him....and you of course.
He's sweet Annemarie, I've got his blog all loaded up too :)
What a pretty kitty! My boy Cosmo cat has a blog (www.cosmokitty.wordpress.com)-after about 3 yrs, he is running out of stuff to say. People can only see him in his bed so many times-lol.
Thinking about you as I have my Neighborhood Round Robin out and did the 8th house. It's draped on the sofa as the 8th house needs a tree or something to balance it out. Also planning to put in the border and finally get it framed! It's so special to me.
Hope Pelle is having a great summer and will be healthy for a long time now!
What a cutie! I love, love, love my little puppies so I can imagine how attached you are to your kitty :-). Hope you and Pelle are having a great time.
Panteof is so cute! So glad he's finally made it "home"!
Yes it does look like the perfect way to spend an evening. I'm on my way over now!
off course! :-)
Dear AnneMarie, I had no idea that you were from across the pond, but so glad we made a connection! My sister-in-law who lives in Texas is a "stitchy" fanatic and she knew I would love your blog. (she introduced me to Stewey also) I used to cross-stitch years ago, but then I got into vintage and antique goodies. I can tell by your work that you will be a real inspiration to get me back to stitching. I love your "remodel" and the village you are constructing.
Thanks for the comment, it went through. Stay in touch.
Debra
He is a handsome and smart fella! Just like you'd described!
Glad he has his own blog so you won't fight over center stage!
Such a cute kitten - I think the ears just give him the cutest appeal. And I love his blog too. It's amazing the things that these animals can come up with when left alone on the computer! LOL
He sure is a cutie.
I love his blogging adventures.
Groetjes uit Canada.
Awww he is so cute!
What a cutie! And I love his blog. What fun! You've really been doing some lovely stitching, and your progress on Mrs. Slocombe is fabulous - I do love that piece! I hope that you and Pelle are both over all of your Bubonic Plagues and are happy and healthy!
