Here you see: the start of Flax Fields by CHS (I'm using the glorious Gloriana silks Annique gave me last year. Thank you!!); half a Baktus scarf (which I'm knitting with two seemingly never-ending balls of yarn); three novels (two to be translated, the other is being read); fabric soaking in coffee for Mum's the Word (a birthday gift from Harmien which is sce-reaming at me to be stitched) and I forgot to put the letter N in the picture, which I finished. So technically, it has no business on the pic anyway, because it's not a WIP but a UFO (a Useful Finished Object). So as you see, I'm quite busy and that's the reason why I'm so very very quiet. A lot of people are anxiously awaiting e-mails from me (I think) and I would like to apologise right here and now for being so tardy. In my mind, I've written each of you about a hundred e-mails already, so if you would be so kind as to read them in your mind? That would be wonderful, thanks!
Hey, but the real reason you're here in droves today is because of my Blogiversary Giveaway, right? It's the first of March, and I'm about to reveal the winners. Are you excited? Are you sitting down? Are you all ready? Okay then. The three winners of my Blogiversary giveaway are..........
Kathy A.
Linen (yes, really!!!)
Nancy
Congratulations, lovies! Linen and Nancy, could you e-mail me your snail mail addresses, please? Mind you, I still have to make the gifts, but I already have a very good idea of what I want to stitch (and sew!) for you. It will take a couple of weeks to finish everything, though. Hope you don't mind!
That's it from me for now. I'm going to soak in a nice hot bath and then I'm off to bed. Enjoy your week!
Yours busily,
Annemarie.

Happy Blogaversary!
Love your new start and can't wait to see more of it.
Love the color of your Baktus scarf too.
I am SO excited! I can't believe I'm a winner, and you made my day! After running errands today in a Jeep that reeked of some kind of chemical and falling apart this is a nice message from you. Snail mail with my address is on the way!
Lots of nice projects you have in the works. Enjoy!
Ooh, lots of "irons in the fire" (or is that "WiPs in the Basket"? Maybe we stitchers need to coin that phrase...but then do enough of us keep our WiPs in Baskets?? Some of mine are. Where do you stow yours? I imagine it's somewhere away from diabolical kitty paws--all that sproingy linen and dangly fiber, hmm...)
Congrats to the Lucky Winners!! :D
As for the email, I did note your comment that you were buried in it, and I was shockingly happy because now you'll be more lenient about how long it took me to reply to you in the first place. Secret: I have terrible time management and HATE "finishing" things! If they're good, let's leave a bit to return to, and if they're bad, well, maybe they'll just go away. This is true for everything from cake, to stitching, to taxes!
So, I'm perfectly happy reading "Mind email Replies". Here's hoping that all your books be they reading or translating, prove themselves enjoyable.
Wow! You have a lot going on! Busy, busy!
Love the color you are using for the scarf!
Congrats to the winners!
OK. Received and acknowledged. I will look for something in the post, maybe next week! I hope mine gets to you this week though.
Good luck with all the work!
Are you SERIOUS?? You really and truly picked me?? I am completely speechless . . . but don't worry, that never lasts long.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I can't tell you how utterly and thoroughly thrilled I am. Well, I can, or at least, I'm trying to here. I am utterly and thoroughly **thrilled**!! You have brightened an otherwise gray day here and given me something to anticipate with great delight. Hurrying off now to send you my snail mail address before someone calls for a recount . . .
I must say that I envy you your hot bath. We have this HUGE tub, but the water doesn't get hot enough for a quality bath. Sigh. So enjoy yours. I'm off to re-read my mental emails from you. ;) Take care!!
..and with that said, you have made my day! Now YOU will have to remember what you said in that in your mind email. Just teasin'! By the way, your Baktus is much further along than mine!
For a moment I thought you had Tutti Frutti on your table... but it was fabric soaked in coffee! I'm sure that turned out great. Love the scarf and what is visible of your stitching.
Hope you can take it easy for a while.
Hooray for the winners!
You really ARE one busy woman.
YIPPEEE!!!!! I am so excited!!!! Thanks for making my day!!!!
Sending hugs to you and Pelle.
