Agree with carol fun, never enough sock yarn! I just buy it, stack it up and fondle it from time to time. At least you are making use of it in such a lovely way!
Is it illegal to use sock yarn for projects other than socks? I think this is GORGEOUS! The sunglasses are a little weird, but the shawl is stunning! :D
Thanks for the lovely comment on my blog! I am enjoying yours immensely too! I also love making shawls out of sock yarn. Have you ever tried crocheted socks? They're lovely! Beautiful shawl, btw, love the colors you chose!

Love it! Looks great -- love the glasses too. lol!
Great colors for the shawl - sock yarn or not - and a great pair of shades - hope thy help!
Well, it's certainly pretty!
oh.... I love shawls that use sock yarn. I've knitted several and use it as an excuse for buying MORE sock yarn - one can never have enough!
I think it's very pretty - love the colors! What size are those, and how long does it take to kick one off?

The shawl is beautiful. You're a brave woman doing them in sock yarn, I have trouble doing socks in sock yarn!
Well, it's a very cute shawl, despite the sock yarn... lol! Congrats!
