I have absolutely nothing newsworthy to share, except my
Bea Pot SAL update for March:

There was a time when I raged against any form of fabric holding device with a vengeance. Hoops, Q-snaps, that sort of thing. But now that I have my scroll frames, it seems I can't work without them. Problem is I only have two frames: one which currently holds
Rites of Spring. The other one is for Mrs. Slocombe. No frame for
Bea Pot. But the end of the month is nigh (very) so I need to update the
Bea Pot blog if I want a chance to win one of the fabulous prizes at the end of the year, and if I slack off now I will never have Bea gracing the wall of my bedroom, that much I know. So I opted for a bit of in-hand stitching and even though it drove me to distraction most of the time, I added two motifs and a bit this month: the big pink flower, the tiny dark brown motif next to it and the beginnings of a big yellow one (which I could have sworn would be brown before I put needle to fabric).

Most of my colleagues over at the
Bea Pot SAL blog thought the big flower motif was tedious work, but I thought it was a doddle. The yellow motif you see next to the blue one: that's the one that's killing me, but I trust with the right size scroll frame that is heading my way even as we read and write, all will be right for my April update.
I'm very sorry, but no amount of caffeine is helping to fight off the devastating effect of Daylight Saving Time on my energy levels, so I'm going to try and convince Pelle he really needs a nap and show him how to go about it.
Yours unhandily,
Annemarie.

Great progress Annemarie! The colours are working really well together.
now aren't you the good girl, working on Beatrix!
I have not touched it..but I will soon.
Your doing a beautiful job of yours
You're making great progress on this. I love all the colors that you're using. And I'm like you with the scroll frames. I used to always stitch in hand, now I can't stand it.
It's really pretty, Annemarie.
Switching to DST is a pain, I agree - but I looove having the extra daylight to stitch in!
You're making lovely progress Annemarie. I shall have my last update tomorrow after my stitching tonight.
I am definitely feeling the effects of losing the hour especially as my eldest DD was at a party on Saturday evening and I waited up until my DH went to bring her home. I really should have gone to bed earlier!
You are making great progress on this that is for sure. WTG. Love Patti xxx
Great progress.
Enjoy your nap.
Oh, I love Miss Bea! I've been checking in at the SAL just to see all the different color combos. Looks like fun.
Nice colors! This will be stunning when you finish.
That's a terrible thing when no amount of caffeine will help! I agree with you - the time change saps my energy too. I think it took me a couple of weeks to really adjust.
Great work on Bea! Good luck on winning that prize!
Miss Bea looks fab Annemarie. Just think how you will zip right along once your new scroll frame arrives. Your living room must look so cozy and welcoming with the different WIPs displayed on frames.
If you want to borrow 'Pumpkin Patch' just let me know. As you know these are small enough that you won't need another scroll frame.
I'm exhausted, but can't blame it on DST. Niek's decided he now wants to get up at 6 am, but we haven't gotten to bed before midnight. I'm fried.
Your BP looks lovely. And I know that it's even lovelier IRL! :)
Your Betarix Potter looks so nice with all the colours you use. Great progress on her!
Daylight Saving Time is terrible as it makes me tired for more than a week until I get used to it.
Looking good! It always takes me a week or so to adjust to the time changes.
This is looking great ...I like the colours.
I hope you catch up on your sleep soon. have a nice nap!
For years I stitched in hand, then began to use frames, then picked up some hoops for other projects, then tried a q-snap. Now it feels funny to work in hand, but I do it every now and then. :)
Our time change was a couple of weeks ago and I've adjusted finally. Having more daylight in the evening is nice, but I was so enjoying having light when I had to drag myself out of bed at 6 a.m. A couple more weeks and the sun will be up to greet me then too.
Your Bea is coming along so nicely, Annemarie!
I hear you on the DST thing. I love having the extra hour of daylight, especially when the memory of the short evenings of winter are still so fresh in my mind. That said, last night I found myself nodding off with needle in hand. I finally went to bed early and hope that I will be able to stay up a bit later tonight & stitch. Hope you have adjusted by now!
