No, I haven't been back to hospital (at least not until this afternoon when I had to have some bits cut out of the skin of my leg so they can study it and determine what sort of interesting flora or fungi grow out of it. I don't know why they're bothering. Surely I suffer from Bubonic plague) (although, come to think of it, Bubonic Plague is a bacterial disease and should therefore respond to insane amounts of antibiotics as opposed to my mystery illness, which doesn't respond to anything. Not even to all of your positive vibes, healing cyber hugs, tasty chicken soup, gallons of tea and tons of stitching), but my progress on
The Blue Lady is astonishing nonetheless. Well, I think so anyway:

But now, the good lady is back in her project bag, sniffing her flower, while I try and finish

The Blue Lady is the design of a drug fiend from the Seventies and hate it accordingly, these last posts can't have been much fun. So expect an update of Rites of Spring on Thursday! (barring unforeseen circumstances).

Annemarie.

Personally I think she's SUPER!! - quirky, crazy, PERFECT!!
Glad to hear that you are enjoying your stitching even though not well at all. Keeping fingers & toes crossed for some helpful results when next you visit the hospital.
Have a wonderful time Sunday.
hugs, Margaret
Well, you have great progress done. Watch my weblog for a surprise! Maybe you feel a little bit better than.
Took good care.
Greta progress! Hope they find out what is wrong soon. xx
You are certainly making FANTASTIC progress! Love your new blog look too :) Take care. {{hugs}}
Well, she's not quite my taste, I must admit ;) but you are making terrific progress!
I hope the docs can figure out what's wrong with you soon - look after yourself!
I love the Blue Lady aand if the exchamge rate weren't so awful I'd hve one of my every own.

Amazing progress on the Blue Lady!
Sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly. I hope the doctors figure out the skin condition. Just a thought, my dad was recently diagnosed with mycoses (or mycosis) fungioides, a rare non-Hodgkins lymphoma which mimics a fungal infection. It's relatively benign, but can go many (in my dad's case 25+) years without being properly diagnosed because it is so obscure. If no fungus shows up in the cultures, bring it up with your doctor. It's much easier to treat if it's caught early. Feel better!
the blue lady deserves partial happy dances, don't you think? and this is one of them!! great progress, she's is visible in part of her glory.
I hope they'll find out what's been pestering you, it's time they can get a stop to it!
wish you and Pelle well!
Het is een maf mens, maar ze wordt wel errug mooi en je bent een giga eind opgeschoten!! Time to BAN all unforeseen circumstances!! Gewoon lekker borduren...
Sorry to hear you're still not feeling well, but you're making some amazing progress on Blue Lady.
I have to agree with a few of the other ladies and say she's not quite my taste either :-). I do admire all the work that you've put into it!
Hope you are feeling better soon.
your lady is coming along fast, good for you!
hope you get better fast,in doubt get back to the dr
Incredible progress Annemarie!!
Bubonic plague!! Oh my goodness girl!..lol... Hopefully they will figure it out soon!
Hooray, the Blue Lady has an . . ., um, well, I think it's an ear. (Is it?) Whatever it may be, it's lovely!!
Do take care of yourself, Annemarie! Hope you're feeling better very soon!!
My dear, dear snotful friend, whatever are we going to do with you! If you get any more strange diseases. we are going to have to find a new home for one slightly wacky, attracter of odd diseases, obsessed stitcher and overworked mom!
Hang in there hon - there has to be an end in sight.
Now this is a progress picture!! Well done on the Blue Lady.
I hope that you will soon see the light at the end of the tunnel when the doctors find out what you have and find the right treatment.
Oh, wow! Are there drug-crazed 70's throwbacks out there designing cross stitch charts??? Where can I buy some??
Seriously, Annemarie, that's incredible progress on a gorgeous design and I just do not know how you do it. I get sick and I don't stitch. You get sick, and then you get sicker, and you stitch more and then you stitch LOTS more. You're a medical marvel and a stitching phenomenon.
Please take care. Otherwise, I shall be forced to descend upon you and supervise your intake of healthy stuff, your long naps, and general recovery. I must warn you, I am a truly terrible nurse. Just ask Niek. So get better soon!
She's terrific! And you're making great progress on her. I hope the docs figure out what's the matter with you - take care.
Hi there Annemarie, I hope you can be feeling much better soon with your skin and everything else. There are a lot of quirky skin disorders out there that are not sinister (my DH has one) and most are easily treated once they know what it is. Hey it might even be a coffee allergy coming out on your skin, then what would you do ? ;-)
Great progress on Mrs. Slocombe ( I like that name for your Blue Lady) and I like that you have totally original taste.
Take care xx
You have made a lot of progress, and I think your Blue Lady is amazingly wonderful! Hope they find out what is going on soon. Feel better!
I hope you're feeling better soon and they find out what's wrong with your leg Annemarie. You must be getting pretty fed-up of it.
You're Blue lady looks fantastic! You're making great progress.
Hi An,
Hope all turns out well soon! You had to be a head scratching case didn't you? Bri's dad gets odd skin issues once in a while and had to go to a wound specialist. It takes a while to go away, but maybe you just have a type of skin infection.
Your Blue Lade is really coming along-more power to you!
I love Mrs. Slocombe! I'll have to investigate her a little. Hope you get the health help you need soon. And thanks for the good idea about my fob.
I think she is quirky & interesting! Lots of progress on her : ) Take care of yourself -- hope the docs put the puzzle together & come up with a cure.
Drug-crazed 70's? What 70's, what drugs?....I seem to be having some sort of black-out. Blue Lady does give me the creeps though...sorry. And it was more like the "Binge/Purge 80's" for me.
Great progress on your lady, hope you get some answers from your doctors soon.
Great progress. Hope things start looking up for ou health-wise soon.
Hey, I might be more of a sampler stitcher, but I think your Blue Lady is fun in a very funky sort of way. :) You're making tremendous progress. YGG! I hope you are on the mend soon. Take care of yourself! Can't wait to see your Rites of Spring update.
